Arnerich Massena’s Jake O’Shaughnessy will be featured as a panelist at the conference, discussing “Specialist Referrals – Using an Independent Consulting Firm to Assess and Manage Risk.” The session will focus on the various issues surrounding hiring and retaining the services of an independent consulting firm, including how plan sponsors can mitigate risk by hiring consulting specialists to assist in functions like plan design, investment policy statement development, asset allocation, investment manager selection, and fee negotiation. Jake is a veteran NAGDCA speaker, having presented on topics ranging from fiduciary risks to Roth conversions at past events.
