Arnerich Massena representatives attended the Portland Business Journal’s Corporate Philanthropy Luncheon on Friday, October 14, where Tony and Christine accepted Arnerich Massena’s Innovations in Philanthropy award. The Corporate Philanthropy awards recognize businesses in the Portland community that are giving back, and it was fantastic to see the scope of the philanthropy recognized!
What an honor to be among Portland’s philanthropic community. As Christine and Tony accepted the award, Tony spoke about how important it is for businesses to step up and contribute to their communities, and about his commitment to the community. “As an investment firm, we invest in the future. And what better way to do that than invest in children?” he said.
As a winner of the Innovations in Philanthropy Award, Arnerich Massena and the I AM Learning Partnership were featured in both a short video at the luncheon and an article in the Journal’s Corporate Philanthropy special section. You can view the video HERE and read the article, “Investment in students creates bright future for the community” by Pete Danko, at the Portland Business Journal HERE or also on our website HERE. Both the video and article offer a wonderful and moving view into the origins and scope of Arnerich Massena’s incredible community service programs.
