Jewish Family & Child Service (JFCS) hosted its 6th Annual “Celebrating Our Caring Community” luncheon on April 17, 2018. The event featured keynote speaker Emily Wanderer Cohen, the daughter and grandchild of Holocaust survivors who now coaches generations of Holocaust survivors toward trauma resolution.
Wanderer Cohen spoke about the importance of aging in place for Holocaust survivors, and JFCS is stepping up to the plate to help make this possible. Donations can help pay for in-home services, installation of home safety equipment, aid and safety kits, and counseling, among other things. “We help at-risk and needy seniors age in place, remaining in their home of choice rather than being forced to move to other housing,” Lee Cordova, JFCS Board Chair says.
Arnerich Massena is a proud supporter of JFCS’s mission, and we feel deeply grateful to be part of celebrating our caring community again this year. Check out our photos below.
