We are excited to introduce our newest consultant, Corrie Oliva, CFA, who has recently joined Arnerich Massena’s institutional consulting team. She comes to us with more than 15 years of experience in investing, and will provide consulting services to corporate, public, and not-for-profit organizations. We traditionally welcome new Arnerich Massena team members by asking them to share a bit about themselves:
What is your favorite restaurant in Portland?
It’s not actually in Portland, but Baird’s on B in Lake Oswego has fantastic tacos!
What book have you read recently and enjoyed?
I recently re-read Charlotte’s Web to assist my daughter with a book report. I hadn’t read it since my childhood, and really enjoyed it!
What’s the strangest job you’ve ever had?
I had a summer job working for Freightliner doing electrical wiring for trucks. It was a great-paying job for a student, and while I have not had the opportunity to use my electrical wiring skills since then, I can name every type of truck I see on the freeway.
Where is your favorite place to which you’ve traveled?
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Do you have a favorite hobby?
I love the outdoors, so my hobbies are outdoor-type activities like running and skiing.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
“There are two ways to live: You can live as if nothing is a miracle; (or) you can live as if everything is a miracle.”
If you could have one superpower, what would you choose?
I would like to be able to fly… so that I can avoid traffic!
