Arnerich Massena’s Director of HR Alicia Johnston Discusses the Wellness Gap in The Portland Business Journal

What do employer benefits look like these days, and what role do they play in attracting and retaining talent? Alicia Johnston, director of HR, was recently featured in The Portland Business Journal article, “How Oregon Works: Alicia Johnston of Arnerich Massena on bridging the wellness gap,” in which she spoke with managing editor Andy Giegerich about these and other benefits issues.

“If benefits are competitive and truly a benefit to employees, it communicates to candidates that the employer cares about them and is willing to put their money where their mouth is, which tells them about the company culture in a broader way,” Alicia is quoted as saying. She outlines the current environment and what prospective employees are looking for and value in a benefits package. And she discusses some of the more creative and unique benefits Arnerich Massena provides, such as employee events and weekly yoga.
