While OEN’s Angel Oregon event was put on hiatus this year, the Food & Beverage Showcase promises similar excitement, with entrepreneurs, distributors, investors, retailers, and more in one place to showcase the amazing Oregon food and beverage industry. This year, companies will pitch their products in the hopes of winning a prize package, which include shelf space at retailer Green Zebra, legal and accounting services, and design and packaging services. Arnerich Massena Sponsors The Shooting Star Foundation and Helps Raise Over $60,000 for Children with Special Needs

Arnerich Massena was the lead sponsor of the 2nd Annual Shooting Star Foundation Event in Minneapolis. Featuring live entertainment, craft beer, and barbecue at Minneapolis’s Able Brewery, with approximately 175 attendees, the event helped raise funds to provide early-interventional therapy for children with special needs. For 25 years, the Clackamas Community College Foundation has been celebrating the college’s students and instructors with an annual tournament and auction. Arnerich Massena is a proud sponsor of this year’s anniversary Corporate Challenge and ParTee on the Green, which will be held on August 20, 2018. It promises to be an exciting day with a tournament, on-site Nike store, and silent auction. All proceeds go to tuition scholarships, program support, emergency childcare grants, transportation, and text book grants, all to help students stay in college and attain their educational goals. Arnerich Massena Sponsors Cascade Pacific Council’s Eagle Scout Celebration

On April 17, local Eagle Scouts gathered to honor Jeff Pinneo, this year’s Distinguished Eagle Scout Award Recipient. Presented by Brad Tilden, Honorary Event Chairman and current Chairman, President, and CEO of Alaska Air Group (and previous recipient of the award), the award acknowledges Eagle Scouts who have received national-level recognition, fame, or demonstrated eminence within their field, and have a strong record of voluntary service to the community. The Shooting Star Foundation Launches New Website

In November, Arnerich Massena was a lead sponsor for The Shooting Star Foundation’s inaugural fundraiser (photos below), helping to launch this organization in its mission to support families who have children with special needs. April 30th through May 3rd marked the 2017 Annual WACUBO conference, in which college and university business officers gathered in Seattle, WA for professional development, networking, and exploring issues and trends in higher education. Jewish Family & Child Service (JFCS) celebrated its 70th anniversary on Tuesday, May 2 at its fifth annual fundraising luncheon. “Celebrating our Caring Community,” held at the Multnomah Athletic Club, featured guest speaker Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum. As Attorney General, she has spent her career advocating for vulnerable Oregonians, helping to protect children, seniors, immigrants, crime victims, and students overwhelmed with education-related debt.
