TEDxPortland Donates Backpacks to Arnerich Massena’s I AM Learning Partnership

A huge dose of gratitude to TEDxPortland and David Rae, who are gifting the Poler backpacks left over from the TEDxPortland event to the children of Arnerich Massena’s I AM Learning Partnership. More than 30 of these fantastic backpacks will be handed out to students who attend the I AM Learning Partnership summer programs. (Read a description of a past summer camp here.)

The I AM Learning Partnership is dedicated to assisting young students of Irvington Elementary School meet state benchmarks by enriching academic skills and providing support and mentorship. The program won the Portland Business Journal’s Innovations in Philanthropy Award in 2016. This is a tremendous gift that will be much appreciated by our students. See photos of the donation below; we’ll update you this summer with more photos when the students receive their backpacks. We are so glad to have partnered with TEDxPortland this year. Another way that TEDxPortland inspires!
