Zero Mass Water Featured in Forbes Magazine

“It’s often said you can’t make something out of nothing. Cody Friesen may have come as close to succeeding as anyone.” This line opens “Meet Zero Mass Water, Whose Solar Panels Pull Drinking Water From The Air,” a Forbes Magazine article about Zero Mass Water, one of the private equity investments made by 3×5 Partners, LLC, an Arnerich Massena Approved Manager. The article, published November 15, 2017, highlights the incredible work Zero Mass Water is doing creating devices that pull potable water from the air.

“The water is cool and delicious,” author Miguel Helft notes, “and it was made out of thin air. Literally.” Zero Mass Water’s SOURCE Hydropanels use solar energy to extract moisture from the air and produce as much as five liters a day of drinkable water. This device could be the solution to water problems around the world. “’We want to guarantee access to safe drinking water for every person in the world, and fundamentally change the human relationship to water,’” states Cody Friesen, founder and CEO of Zero Mass Water.

It’s thrilling to see Zero Mass Water receive media attention from Forbes, and to watch the development of its technology and its potential unfold. As part of a recent launch event, Zero Mass Water staff visited a school and orphanage in Lebanon that now have clean drinking water thanks to the SOURCE panels.

Note that the Forbes article incorrectly refers to 3×5 Partners as a subsidiary of Arnerich Massena (calling it “Arnerich Massena’s 3×5 Partners”). Arnerich Massena’s CEO, Tony Arnerich, owns an interest in both Arnerich Massena and 3×5 Partners, but 3×5 Partners is an independent investment management firm in which Arnerich Massena clients invest.
