Arnerich Massena Named one of Oregon’s Best Green Workplaces 2022 by Oregon Business Magazine

06/06/2022

It is important to us at Arnerich Massena that we don’t just talk the talk; we walk the walk. As we work to help investors find investments that are aligned with their values and principles, we want to reflect our highest values and principles internally as well. We are dedicated to making our workplace as sustainable, diverse, inclusive, and equitable as possible; as Gandhi proposed, we believe that we should be the change we want to see in the world. So, we are pleased and honored to be recognized for our efforts, and proud to join the ranks of 99 other phenomenal organizations on Oregon Business Magazine’s 100 Best Green Workplaces in Oregon list.

The list celebrates those employers who go above and beyond to adopt a more sustainable way of living and working, showcasing companies and non-profit organizations that are transforming workplace norms and setting the standards for sustainability. Companies are selected for the list based on an anonymous survey completed by employees, asking them to rate their employers’ sustainability efforts.

Arnerich Massena’s internal Sustainability Committee and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee are charged with the ongoing evaluation of the company’s work environment and practices, seeking to find ways to improve or implement better processes and procedures. We are proud to be a Certified B Corporation®; demonstrating our commitment to meeting high standards of accountability and transparency, and meeting the requirements of the stringent B Impact Assessment review. We work in a silver LEED-certified (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) building, rated for its sustainable materials, water efficiency, energy star rating, waste management, and air quality. Arnerich Massena has worked hard to maximize our ability to recycle and compost, contracting with specialist recyclers to allow employees to recycle unusual objects such as electronics, batteries, diapers, and plastics. We use paperless processes where possible, and recycled paper products. We are conscious of the vendors we work with, seeking out vendors who are local and sustainable. We’re proud of our efforts, and believe that they are illustrative of a culture of resiliency and accountability.
