As someone with an analytical background, Grace Gu loves to dive into numbers to find meaningful information. She brings an innate curiosity and diligence to market research, always seeking to learn more about investing in order to provide the most thoughtful and knowledgeable output.
Grace conducts analytical research on U.S. and non-U.S. equity markets, sourcing new investment managers and completing ongoing due diligence in these areas. She is also responsible for the delivery of custom client projects such as fund manager searches, investment portfolio analysis, investment policy development, and industry analysis.
Grace previously served as a matrix reporting intern for the Agricultural Bank of China and joined Arnerich Massena in 2022. She earned a B.S. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in mathematics, with a concentration in actuarial science. She is currently pursuing the CFA and FRM designations. She has passed the CFA Level I and II exams and FRM part I, and is a CFA Level III candidate.
Grace volunteers with Rock the Street, Wall Street, delivering investment education, financial literacy, and professional mentorship to female high school students at Grant High School.
Grace’s favorite quote is “The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” She believes that it’s never too late to learn anything, and is always encouraged and excited to learn and grow.
