Tony Arnerich founded Arnerich Massena in 1991 to build a world his investors can really believe in. His goal was to provide independent and unbiased investment advice with a focus on quality research, innovation, and client service.
CEO for more than 25 years, Tony directed the development of the firm, managing strategic growth and firm direction. Under his guidance, Arnerich Massena has been a pioneer in the investment industry, bringing innovation to portfolio construction for private clients, foundations, and endowments.
Tony has guided and mentored the next generation of Arnerich Massena’s leaders, including co-CEOs Reegan Rae and Bryan Shipley. He now serves clients as senior investment advisor, while also focusing on his responsibilities as managing director of 3x5 Partners, a growth-oriented venture capital firm he helped found that builds companies pioneering innovative solutions in the life sciences and natural resources sectors.
His experience in the investment industry spans more than 30 years, during which he served as an investment executive and helped found the Investment Management Consulting Group of Dain Bosworth.
Tony Arnerich founded an award-winning business-to-school partnership with Portland's Irvington School, which represents a significant commitment of funding and employee volunteer time to neighborhood schools. He has volunteered as an I AM Learning Partner to mentor children on literacy.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Santa Clara University, and is a former FINRA Series 7, 63, and 24 license holder.
