Arnerich Massena has been named to The Portland Business Journal’s Healthiest Employers list, ranking in the top 15 of Oregon businesses in the 2-100 employees category. The Healthiest Employers of Oregon award was “created to recognize organizations that are committed to creating a healthy workplace.” We’d also like to wish our congratulations to Arnerich Massena client Samaritan Health Services, which was named as the #1 Healthiest Employer in the 5,000 or more employees category! And as well to our clients Rose Villa and Nautilus, both of whom were in the top ten healthiest employers in the 100-499 employees category!

The award honorees were celebrated at The Portland Business Journal’s HR Summit & Healthiest Employers Award event, hosted virtually on Nov. 5, which highlighted the importance of health and wellness, particularly during this difficult time of pandemic. HR Director Alicia Johnston attended the event, during which employers across the state shared tools and tactics for improving employee wellness and accessing resources. She notes that many employers discussed the vital importance of focusing on employee mental health, with several highlighting financial wellness as an important component. “We’re really pleased to be honored among this group of extraordinary employers,” she said. “We work hard to provide our employees with access to resources that will serve their long-term health and wellbeing, and are proud of our health and wellness programs!”

“We spend a third of our lives at work, and for us, we want to recognize how important it is to find balance, fulfillment, fun, challenge, and connection in our work lives and home lives,” says co-CEO Bryan Shipley, CFA, CAIA. “We are really proud to support that in a wide variety of ways, from making company bikes available for use to offering an in-office yoga class for all employees (now available live over Zoom).”
