Since 1991, Arnerich Massena has researched, built, and successfully implemented alternative investment strategies, building specialized expertise in private markets investing. In 1995, we began positioning portfolios to capture the global market opportunity. Arnerich Massena began researching sustainable investing in 2007 and was a frontrunner in establishing a multi-asset class funding strategy focused on impact investment themes, and continues to be a thought leader in this space, helping clients to align their investments with their values. Also an early adopter of frontier market investing, we continue to bring vision and innovation to our clients as we move forward in a constantly evolving investment landscape.
In 2017, Arnerich Massena transitioned to a 100% employee-owned structure via a management buyout, and a group of senior employees share equity ownership of the firm. In 2018, Arnerich Massena was listed among the top 20 largest women-owned firms by The Portland Business Journal, and it is a source of pride that the firm's ownership, leadership, and advisory team continue to be evenly balanced between men and women.
