The Native Arts & Cultures Foundation hosted a series of special events preceding the 2019 Santa Fe Indian Market in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Arnerich Massena was a proud sponsor of the 10-Year Gratitude Celebration, an evening event on August 16 dedicated to celebrating ten years of NACF’s service to Native artists and communities and honoring the individuals, businesses, tribes, and foundations that have supported the organization’s work during its first decade.
Arnerich Massena’s Terri Schwartz, managing director of institutional services and business development; and Anita Kekona, senior client services and RFP & analytics administrator, attended the market and the celebration, as well as two other special events hosted by NACF: a panel presentation and Q&A on Environmental Collapse: Native Perspectives on the Land, Protection, and Stewardship at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture; and Native Women on art, culture, and resilience, a panel discussion of Native women in the arts at SITE Santa Fe.
The Native Arts & Cultures Foundation hosts incredible events featuring remarkable artists; this year’s presentations showcased Angelo Baca, documentary film producer; Cannupa Hanska Luger, artist and 2016 NACF National Artist Fellow; Princess Daazhraii Johnson, actor and creative producer/writer of PBS series “Molly of Denali; Cara Romero, photographer; Rose Simpson, visual artist; and Jaclyn Roessel, curator.
