Philanthropy Northwest’s annual conference, “The Future is Forward,” reminds us on their website about the challenges non-profit organizations face as they recover from 2020 and how important it is for philanthropy to “respond nimbly, think big, and take action in partnership with their community.” Their virtual conference, hosted October 5-7, is the biggest opportunity for the Northwest philanthropic community and network to connect and inspire an even brighter future. As a conference speaker, Co-CEO and Chief Investment Officer Bryan Shipley will share his insight about how impact investing can be a powerful tool for non-profit organizations to fulfill their missions.
“We want to help endowments and foundations serve their mission and values with everything they do,” says Shipley. “By aligning their investments with those values, they can both grow their asset base to create long-term funding resources and also put their money toward creating change.” Arnerich Massena is dedicated to helping clients find investment opportunities that are aligned with the world and future they want to build. Our research team works hard to find the entrepreneurs and innovators who are discovering and creating solutions to some of the world’s greatest challenges and creating economic and investment opportunities at the same time. Bryan will talk about how non-profit organizations can become part of a movement to invest for impact without sacrificing the return that makes their missions possible.
