Author Jerome Knyszewski from Authority Magazine brings us an in-depth interview with Co-CEO Reegan Rae, covering topics ranging from her career history to her insights on how to empower more women to become founders and entrepreneurs.
In the interview, she discusses what inspires her and how the financial world is making a difference: “When people look at our industry, they often see it as being focused on money. But it’s not money or wealth creation that gets me out of bed in the morning, or that is even central to what I do,” Reegan is quoted as saying. “At its core, what we really do is help our clients align their investments with their values and find ways they can really make an impact in the world.”
And she shares thoughts on how we can bring more women into executive roles: “I think the lack of visibility of female role models in business — and particularly in venture capital — is striking and at the root of why we are not seeing as many female founders and executives. If we can’t see it, how can we be it?”
Knyszewski asks Rae about why women should become founders, and she had this to say: “Female founders will be able to create the businesses, products, and services that can connect to wealth holders and financial decision makers and offer what they want. And those decision makers will be seeking out companies that can demonstrate a commitment to diversity and gender balance.”
