Arnerich Massena community service coordinators Kate DeGraw and Elly Kendig attended the Portland Business Journal Corporate Philanthropy Luncheon on October 11, where Arnerich Massena was recognized among the top corporate philanthropists in the small company category.
“Some forty companies were honored Wednesday during the Portland Business Journal’s 2017 Corporate Philanthropy Awards. The honors were given for largesse that, during 2016, reached new heights,” says the Business Journal’s Andy Giegerich. It was an honor to be among these notable, generous companies.
This marks the fourth year in a row that Arnerich Massena has been honored by The Portland Business Journal in its Corporate Philanthropy Awards. Last year, Arnerich Massena was awarded the Innovations in Philanthropy Award for our I AM Learning Partnership program. This year, the award recognizes the support Arnerich Massena provides to a number of charitable organizations. In 2016, in addition to maintaining the I AM Learning Partnership, Arnerich Massena made nearly $60,000 in cash contributions across about 30 non-profit organizations. Giving back to the community is a core part of our culture and philosophy, and it’s wonderful to see that we are not alone.
